Photovoltaic power plant Model

Photovoltaic power plant Model

The creation of the model of the photovoltaic power plant was the only one that dragged on for several years. Several students took turns on this project, so the results of their work are summarized in the absolvent thesis of Martin Hrubý, who defended his work in the school year 2022/2023. The cost of the components was 91 632 CZK. The implementation lasted from 2011, see [1].

Pupils and students can use this model to measure how efficient photovoltaic systems are. The model allows the appliance to be connected via a conventional 230 V socket. Also, a part of the classroom lighting is connected to the power plant model, which can additionally be controlled via a web interface [1]. The measured quantities are stored in the AMiNi4DW2 PLC, which also controls the fan in the control cabinet based on the internal temperature. It is also worth mentioning the manual [2].
